Why there's no paid tier
Directory sites that sell “featured” spots end up ranking whoever pays, and families figure that out fast. This directory stays useful by staying honest: the order is claimed first, then staff size, then name.
The directory is published by PracticeMarketer, an orthodontic marketing firm that has worked exclusively with orthodontists since 1995. If your practice wants help being found beyond this directory, on Google and in AI search, that's a separate conversation and it starts with a free AI Smile Score. The listing itself never depends on it.

- Is this an endorsement or a rating?
- No. Inclusion means the practice holds the orthodontics specialty code on its NPI record. Nothing more.
- My listing has wrong information.
- Claim it and fix it, or email hello@findalocalorthodontist.com and we'll correct it.
- Can I remove my listing?
- The underlying NPI record is public, but yes, email us and we'll unpublish your practice page.
- How do you confirm I'm with the practice?
- We match your email domain or phone number against the practice's public record, and call the office if needed.
